Our mission
Interdisciplinary DSI (iDSI) is a global knowledge network of researchers and practitioners aiming for just approaches to Digital Sequence Information governance. We amplify interdisciplinary research collaborations and knowledge exchange, as well as provide evidence-based interdisciplinary expertise to DSI policy-making, academic discourse, and program implementation at all levels of governance.
iDSI aims to be a source of trusted interdisciplinary knowledge and expertise on DSI.
Goals
KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE
Exchange evidence-based knowledge inclusive of other ways of knowing like traditional knowledge, citizen science and community engagement.
RESEARCH PLATFORM
Provide an online repository of interdisciplinary knowledge on DSI approaches, including research advocacy, science communication and policy briefs.
SCIENCE-POLICY
Inform and advise policy makers and practitioners on new knowledge insights for DSI approaches, data governance and ABS instruments.
